Guide to rotate pdf
Correct PDF page orientation
Rotate PDF helps when one or more scanned pages appear sideways or upside down. You can rotate individual pages in the preview or rotate all pages at the same angle. Choose a rotation that makes the text readable in its normal position; Landscape pages such as wide tables may need to remain horizontal.
Rotation changes page orientation in the resulting PDF and is not the same as rotating a photo in the gallery. Text and images remain on the same page. If only part of the page is wrong, check the preview before saving to prevent the rest of the document from spinning.
Check legibility and signature
After the process, open the resulting PDF in another reader and make sure the orientation remains correct. Check especially pages with tables, diagrams, ID photos, or forms as some elements may look different when rotated. The source file is not replaced, so you can repeat the process with the correct selection if the first result is not correct.
Rotation does not correct blurry images, pages that are skewed within images, or text that is scanned upside down as content. This tool changes the overall appearance of the page. Digitally signed documents can be affected by file changes; do not rely on an existing signature without checking the validity status on a PDF reader.
Additional limits and checks
The rotation angle applies to PDF pages, not to images that are tilted within the page. If the scanned text remains skewed after correcting the page orientation, the source image may need to be rescanned. Check the mixed portrait and landscape pages so that the rotate all option doesn't make the previously correct page sideways.
For information on file processing, see privacy policy. Limits on the tool's workspace apply if they are stricter than the general limits.
