Guide to delete pdf pages
Select the page to output
Delete PDF pages can tidy up scans with blank sheets, eliminate unnecessary copies of pages, or create working copies that contain specific sections. Select a page in the preview or enter the page number you want to delete. The number refers to the page position in the current file; do not confuse them with chapter numbers or footers printed in the document.
The tool requests that at least one page remains. Before processing, double-check the list of output pages so as not to discard pages containing signatures, attachments, or important information. If you actually want to keep only a few pages, the extract tool can be clearer because you select the pages you want to keep.
What changed in the copy?
The result is created as a new PDF with the selected pages removed; the original file is not overwritten. A reduced number of pages does not always cause the file size to decrease in the same proportion, because the size of each page is different. The change also doesn't obscure the content on the remaining pages, so use special redactions when you need to hide sensitive information.
After downloading, make sure the pages before and after the deletion point are aligned correctly and the internal print numbers still make sense. Check links, forms, bookmarks, and digital signatures if documents use them. Changing the page order may affect these features, so request a new, certified copy if the recipient requires it.
Additional limits and checks
Deleting a page only changes the copy created by this tool. Discarded pages will not be available in the resulting file, so make sure you still have the complete source for the archive. To remove personal data from a persistent page, do not rely on page deletion; use appropriate editorial procedures.
For information on file processing, see privacy policy. Limits on the tool's workspace apply if they are stricter than the general limits.
