Guide to reorder pdf
Arrange the order according to the reading flow
Reorder PDF is useful when scanned pages come in the wrong order or when you need to organize attachments before sending. Use the arrow keys in the preview to move pages, or enter a complete sequence such as 3, 1, 2, 4. The numbers refer to the position of the page when the file is loaded. Use each page number once and make sure you don't miss anything.
For documents containing a cover, main body, table of contents, and attachments, first determine the flow that the reader expects. Some pages may have different sizes or orientations; moving it doesn't automatically homogenize the appearance. If you just want to remove a page, use the delete page tool; if you want to create a section file, use the split tool.
Make sure the new file still makes sense
After sorting, the app creates a new PDF from the pages in the order you choose. The contents of the page are not edited, but bookmarks or links pointing to old locations may need to be checked again. Changes to a document that has a digital signature can invalidate the signature, even if the pages appear the same.
Open the results and review the start page, movement between sections, and the last page. Match the number of pages to the source document and ensure there are no accidental duplications. If the recipient requests a special order, use the most recent list of requirements and save the original file as a backup before sending a new copy.
Additional limits and checks
The complete sequence must refer to the source page number, including if the number in the footer starts from another number. After saving, compare the number of pages and open the movement points between sections. If you need to include a table of contents or bookmarks that link to the page, double-check the link destination after the change.
For information on file processing, see privacy policy. Limits on the tool's workspace apply if they are stricter than the general limits.
